Voxera

The name blends “Vox” — Latin for voice — with “-era”, reflecting the platform's goal of giving users a real voice in global conversation.

A Next.js and Tailwind frontend sits over Supabase authentication and a PostgreSQL database, with JWT and bcrypt securing the backend. Users create accounts and profiles, publish short text posts to a global discoverable feed, and hold real-time direct message conversations with live notifications through Socket.IO. Containerised with Docker for deployment.
